Terms of Service

Welcome to LineUp AI. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the LineUp AI mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not download, install, or use the Service.

1. Eligibility and Accounts

LineUp AI is suitable for all ages. However, to access personalized features of the app, you are required to create an account. If you are under the age of 13, you may only register an account with the consent and involvement of a parent or legal guardian. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete account information, and you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and all activities that occur under your account.

2. End User License Agreement (EULA)

LineUp AI grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the mobile application on a single mobile device owned or controlled by you, solely for your personal, non-commercial entertainment and informational purposes, and in accordance with these Terms.

3. Artificial Intelligence Disclaimer

LineUp AI uses third-party Large Language Models (LLMs) to provide automated fantasy football coaching, recommendations, and analysis (the "AI Coach"). You understand and agree that:

• The AI Coach provides advice based on the data and roster context available at the time of your query. High-variance events (e.g., late-breaking injuries, weather, coach decisions) may not be fully reflected.
• AI-generated advice is for informational and entertainment purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy, relevance, or completeness of the recommendations.
• Decisions regarding your fantasy sports league lineups, drafts, trades, and moves are entirely your own responsibility. We are not liable for any losses or fantasy league standings outcomes resulting from your reliance on the AI Coach.

4. User-Generated Content (UGC) & Safety Guidelines

The Service provides interactive AI chat sessions which are considered User-Generated Content (UGC) under App Store guidelines. We enforce strict policies to ensure a safe environment:

• No Objectionable Content: You must not use the AI Coach to prompt, generate, upload, or transmit any content that is abusive, harassing, threatening, hateful, violent, defamatory, obscene, sexually explicit, or otherwise offensive or illegal.
• Reporting & Moderation: You can report any objectionable or out-of-bounds AI response by tapping the "Report Response" link underneath the message bubble. Our moderation team reviews all flagged responses within 24 hours.
• Account Disabling & Termination: LineUp AI reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to suspend or terminate accounts and restrict access to the Service for any user who attempts to bypass safety filters, prompts the AI to generate objectionable content, or otherwise violates these safety guidelines. We have a zero-tolerance policy for abusive behavior.

5. Integrations and Syncing

To personalize your coaching, you may connect your fantasy leagues from ESPN or Sleeper. You represent that you have the right to access and link those platforms.

Public ESPN leagues and all Sleeper leagues are synced using only a league ID — no login or credentials are required or stored.

Private ESPN leagues require you to log in to ESPN through the app so that LineUp AI can access your private league data. In this case only, encrypted session credentials (ESPN cookies) are stored on our servers solely to enable and maintain the sync. These credentials are never used for any purpose other than syncing your league, and are permanently deleted if you remove the league or delete your account.

6. Intellectual Property

All software, branding, designs, logos, database designs, and content (excluding third-party player names and sports data stats) are the exclusive property of LineUp AI or its licensors. You agree not to copy, reverse-engineer, modify, or exploit any portion of the Service.

7. Account Deletion and Termination

You may delete your account and all associated personal data at any time from within the mobile app by going to Account → Delete Account. LineUp AI may also suspend or terminate your account at any time if we suspect you have breached these Terms or engaged in behavior that harms the Service or other users.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LINEUP AI IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, OPPORTUNITY, OR LEAGUE OUTCOMES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
